The calls came in from just outside town. Expect others to come in soon, because there was a lot of blood. The cops suspect that there was a drug related incident and it turned into a shoot out. Hopefully we can find the others before they bleed out... -listens and nods occasionally; hurries after the stretcher into the emergency room with nurses- Back to Top   summer.. Senior Member [send pm] Joined: May 2013 Posts: 269 called in to work! « Jun 3, 2013 22:09:09 GMT -5 » Quote Select Post Deselect Post Link to Post Member Give Gift Back to Top -looks up at haynes and just gives him that 'oh my god' worried look as she replaces the hands of a paramedic and puts pressure on the chest of one of the victims; rushes him into one of the rooms and helps get the man switched from the stretcher from the paramedics to done of the ones from the hospital; another nurse takes her place as she rushes to get the finger thing on the man and get his vitals going, then gets an IV put into his arm and gets some drips going as well as a face mask over his face then uses the scissors to cut off his shirt to get the other monitors on his body, looks up at haynes- He needs emergency surgery.. that bullet's still in there. There's no exit wound. Back to Top   haynes. We've gotta get this thing out and close him up. More guys are going to be in here any minute.. -quickly reaches past the nurses and cleans the wound; holds his hand out to no one in particular- Scalpel. -a nurse passes him the tool and he doesn't waste time before making a clean incision, enough for his fingers to dip in; carefully feels for the bullet and finds it- Tongs. -hands off the scalpel and waits for tongs- Back to Top   summer.. Senior Member [send pm] Joined: May 2013 Posts: 269 called in to work! « Jun 3, 2013 23:16:50 GMT -5 » Quote Select Post Deselect Post Link to Post Member Give Gift Back to Top -helps one of the other nurses start to clean up the wound when she hears the code blue going off for the patient in the other room; looks up and the other nurse nods to tell her that she can finish and to go help with the other man; quickly pulls off her gloves and tosses them into the trash on the way out of the room and runs to the room down the hall, only one nurse being in there and she's obviously panicking as the heart monitor flatlines -- gets the defibrillator and charges it up, telling the nurse what to do; rubs the two together and then yells 'clear!' before placing the paddles on the man's chest and shocking him; looks up to the heart monitor as she pulls the paddles away and the other nurse does chest compressions, sees he's still flatlining and tells her she's going to do it again; charges them up one more time before yelling 'clear' again and then pushes them too his chest; this time getting a heartbeat on the monitor- Oh, thank god.. I'm gonna need you. -hurries off to help the EMTs move the two onto beds and stripped of their shirts to find the entry wounds and exit wounds- Back to Top   summer..
